Valley of Sorrow

This Indonesian movie released in 1981 tells the story of Susanti (Suzanna) and Marsudi (Roy Marten), a couple who live a mediocre life with various burdens. When Marsudi is found guilty and imprisoned, Susanti decides to take the forbidden path. Marsudi is quickly released from custody because he has the assurance of his superiors. Seeing Susanti's situation, he can't do much, and the relationship between husband and wife becomes cold.
