Il furto è l'anima del commercio!?...(1971)

Libero Sbardelloni, newly married, cannot find work in Rome, so he moves to Naples, where Baron Gaetano Gargiulo, his wife Marcella's uncle, lives. The baron, however, is a penniless nobleman who lives by swindling and petty theft, constantly going in and out of prison. The fruit of his blows he regularly employs to play the lotto, where he has always intended to make a big score, but all his attempts punctually go awry. Not suspecting the real activity of the "baron uncle", Libero follows him that evening to a meat warehouse. Convinced that he has been employed in honest work, Libero gets caught by a night watchman and ends up in jail with his uncle. He then discovers the baron's real business and meets his fellow inmates: Scimmione, a.k.a. the Acireale crusher; Sigfrid, a.k.a. Panzer--a former German soldier in the Wehrmacht; Mortaretto--an expert in fireworks--a stutterer who can only speak normally by singing the tarantella; and Mammoletta, a homosexual petty thief.
